Terms and Policies

Refund Policy

All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This policy applies universally to all purchases made, ensuring clarity and consistency in our transactions.

Refunds are not applicable for any machine accessories or components that are not explicitly included with the original purchase. This includes, but is not limited to, wall adapters that are specific to the location of use, such as two-prong and three-prong plugs, as well as three-prong and four-prong plugs etc. Additionally, any necessary adapters for gas lines, drain hoses, or water lines specific to the intended installation location are also excluded from eligibility for refunds. In cases where a power cord is missing or not attached to the machine(s) for the designated outlet, including but not limited to two-prong and three-prong plugs, as well as three-prong and four-prong plugs etc., refunds will not be issued. Furthermore, specific parts or components for full-size refrigerators, mini refrigerators, dorm refrigerators, stand-up freezers, and chest freezers are non-refundable. This encompasses, but is not limited to, the ability to produce ice and water, ice makers, ice cube trays, crispers, drawers, shelves, buttons, back covers, front covers, wheels, water filter, etc. Similarly, certain parts or components for microwaves, such as mounting brackets, turntables, mounting screws, and other components, etc., are also excluded from refund eligibility. For washers and dryers, refunds will not be granted for items including, but not limited to, shipping bolts, adjustable legs, waterlines, waterlines for steam functions, etc. Refunds are not applicable for gas and electric ranges regarding items including, but not limited to, range hoods, adjustable legs, and any issues related to the proper functionality of the drawer, etc.

Furthermore, there will be no refunds issued for any issues related to delivery, haul away, or installation services. This includes, but is not limited to, any miscommunication or misunderstanding regarding delivery times, locations, or instructions between the delivery representatives, the customer, or store representatives. Situations may arise where incorrect measurements for the machine(s) purchased lead to the machine(s) not fitting through doors, inadequate landings on stairwells, narrow hallways, sharp turns, or any other spatial constraints, etc. If the delivery representatives determine that a delivery, haul away, or installation is unsafe for any number of reasons, including but not limited to unsafe porches, hazardous stairs, obstacles obstructing the pathway, or unsafe conditions regarding animals, such as loose dogs, cats, other pets, etc. or beehives located too close to the delivery area, etc., refunds will not be issued. Refunds will also not be provided in instances where the machine(s) have the incorrect power cord for the outlet of use, plumbing is not suitable for the water lines at the desired installation location, or there are gas line installation issues arising from incorrect or damaged gas hookups at the intended site. Additionally, if the desired location for the machine(s) is insufficient in size, or if an incorrect type of machine(s) has been selected for the intended location, such as a gas dryer meant for a space designed for an electric dryer, washer or other appliance, no refunds will be granted.

Additionally, refunds will not be issued for any cosmetic flaws present on machines of all types, including but not limited to refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, etc. Such flaws may include, but are not limited to, scratches, dents, discoloration, rust, mold, etc. Additionally, any unpleasant odors emanating from a machine, regardless of its type or size, do not qualify for refunds. It is essential to note that these cosmetic conditions do not affect the operational functionality of the appliances. Therefore, customers are encouraged to inspect their purchases thoroughly prior to completion of the transaction. By finalizing the purchase, customers acknowledge that they accept the condition of the appliance as is, including any aesthetic imperfections, and agree that these factors will not warrant a refund.

By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this no refund policy, which serves to protect both the customer and the business.

Warranty Terms

Defining our warranty process:

Default Warranty

All purchases include a 7 day warranty. This warranty has the same terms as the Home Membership Warranty but exires 7 days after the time of purchase. No exeptions. If this warrarty expires without a Home Membership Warranty in place, the machine purchased will need to be re-inspected and deemed to be a healthy machine and free of negligence before it can quallify for our Home Membership Warranty. To avoid any lag in service, we recommend purchasing the Home Membership Warranty at the same time the appliances are purchased.

Home Membership Warranty

Monthly $12.99 per machine

  • Members call a member representative at 815-222-3679 to make a warranty claim.

  • The representative schedules a service call with a PAR Certified Service provider and member

  • PAR Certified Service provider arrives at the designated time and location to identify and diagnose the machine that is under warranty. 

  • If the machine tests good, The benefits of the warranty cannot be realized

  • If the machine tests bad, the member has 2 options; receive a pay out up to $100 for repairs or exchange the machine

  • If the machine was damaged by the member or a repair person that is not a PAR Certified Service provider, the warranty will be in a pending state(unusable) until the member repairs the damages. After that, the machine needs to be re-inspected by a PAR Certified Service provider. 

  • After the machine has been diagnosed, the PAR Certified Service provider’s estimate is given to the member representative. 

  • If the total cost of parts and labor is higher than $100, The member may receive a payout for $100 and would be responsible for any overages. Or, the machine will be replaced with a comparable unit based roughly on age, quality, and the price they paid for the original unit.

  • If the total cost is $100 or less, a check for that amount will be given to the customer for repairs. They will still have the option of exchanging the unit. 

  • The member can contact our PAR Certified Service provider or a mechanic of their choice. But an inspection after the repair is required to continue the warranty and needs to be done by a PAR Certified Service provider. The member will continue paying for the warranty and won’t be able to use the warranty again until this inspection happens. There is no refunds if the member decides to opt out months or years later

  • Exchanges and repairs are organized by a member representative

 Terms 

Covers warrantied appliances in the event of mechanical failure. Warranty includes free diagnostics and the options of free replacement of the machine or up to a $100 payout towards the service repair. If the warrantied machine is deemed a loss by a PAR Certified Service provider, A member representative will organize for the machine to be replaced free of charge with a model of similar value to the original purchase price. Limit 1 replacement event per calendar year. $200 core charge per appliance if the warranted machine(s) is not exchanged. If a warrantied machine tampered with or damaged in any way, the warranty will be void. If the warrantied machine is not installed properly or has missing or damaged water or gas or electrical lines the warranty will be void. Warranty does not include any property damages, cleaning products, gas lines, power cords, water lines, vent hoses. If a warrantied  refrigerator or freezer is plugged in within 24 hours of delivery, the warranty will be void. Machines purchased from Afrodita White Goods LLC are inspected, tested, repaired, and cleaned by PAR Certified Service providers before the machines are sold. Other machines must be inspected and tested by a PAR Certified Service provider within five days of warranty membership purchase or the warranty will be in a pending state(unusable). If a machine is deemed to be broken during inspection, it will be repaired at the expense of the member or removed from the warranty plan with no refunds. A service fee will apply. Food/Clothes protection covers warrantied appliances from loss of food or clothes up to $100 in value. Food/Clothes payouts must be proven with receipts. Disaster Protection covers loss of appliances due to disasters such as flood or fire. If the warrantied machine is deemed a loss by a PAR Certified Service provider, A member representative will organize for the machine to be replaced free of charge with a model of similar value to the original purchase price. Limit 1 replacement event per calendar year. $200 core charge per appliance if the warranted machine(s) is not exchanged. If a warrantied machine tampered with or damaged in any way, the warranty will be void. If the warrantied machine is not installed properly or has missing or damaged water or gas or electrical lines the warranty will be void. Warranty does not include any property damages, cleaning products, gas lines, power cords, water lines, vent hoses. If a warrantied  refrigerator or freezer is plugged in within 24 hours of delivery, the warranty will be void. Terms are subject to change monthly

Delivery Terms and Policy

Installation services will not be performed unless all relevant electrical and plumbing systems are functioning correctly and meet the necessary safety standards. Additionally, the required appliance accessories must be included with the original purchase or must already exist at the location of use to ensure a proper setup. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the path for delivery and installation is clear of any obstacles, including furniture, boxes, and other items, as well as any pets that may pose a safety risk. Failure to provide a clear path may result in delays or the inability to complete the installation. Furthermore, if the machine(s) cannot be accommodated due to incorrect measurements, such as not fitting through doors, inadequate landings on stairwells, narrow hallways, or sharp turns, the customer will not be entitled to a refund. In such cases, the delivery will not be completed, and the machine(s) will be returned to the store. The customer will incur a universal restocking fee of $100, and the delivery fee paid will not be refunded. However, the customer will receive store credit for the amount equivalent to the cost of the machine. The purchaser also assumes full responsibility for any damage that may occur to the location, personal belongings, other individuals, or pets during the delivery and installation process. By proceeding with the purchase, customers acknowledge and accept these terms, understanding that compliance is essential for a successful and safe installation.

Installation of dishwashers does not include hardwiring the appliance to the electrical system of the location, as this task poses significant safety concerns and potential hazards. Our delivery personnel are not equipped or authorized to perform hardwiring tasks due to the complexity and risks associated with such work. Therefore, we strongly recommend that customers engage the services of qualified professionals, such as licensed electricians, to ensure that any electrical connections are handled properly and safely. This approach not only guarantees compliance with local electrical codes but also mitigates the risk of electrical hazards, ensuring a secure and efficient installation.

For haul away services, where existing appliances are removed from the customer’s location, similar conditions apply. If the existing appliance is too large to be removed due to obstacles or spatial constraints, including but not limited to incorrect measurements of doors, landings, stairwells, or any other factors preventing safe removal, the haul away service will not be completed. In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to a refund if they have already paid in-store for the haul away service. The delivery terms outlined previously apply solely to the delivery fees paid in-store.

If the customer opts to pay the delivery representatives in cash upon delivery, they are not required to pay for any services that were not completed, except for the mandatory $50 trip charge for curbside delivery. This stipulation also applies to installation fees; if installation cannot be performed due to the failure of the relevant electrical and plumbing systems to function correctly or meet necessary safety standards, or if the required appliance accessories are not included or present at the location of use, the installation service will not be executed. However, the customer is still obligated to pay for the installation fee if the machine(s) have been delivered to the location, even if not plugged in or hooked up due to plumbing, electrical issues, or missing adapters, cords, waterlines, or drain hoses. All card transactions for delivery and installation are final and non-refundable under any circumstances.

By choosing to proceed with delivery services, whether by card or cash upon delivery, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this policy. These provisions are designed to protect not only the customer but also the business and the delivery representatives involved in the transaction. Understanding and accepting these terms ensures a smoother delivery and installation process, minimizing potential issues and fostering a positive experience for all parties. The customer’s compliance with these policies is essential for the successful execution of services and helps maintain a professional standard of operation.

Upgrade Terms

Defining our Upgrade Plan

Cost $50 per month

Benefits

  • One free upgrade per month

  • Warranty service on purchases and upgrades for the life of the account

  • Maintenance every six months on all of the owners purchases and upgrades

  • In-store discount - sale price plus $100 on every purchase

  • Tenured members receive four extra upgrades

Restrictions

  • Delivery not included

  • Warranty and maintenance is only available for purchased or upgraded machines

  • Upgraded machines and machines purchased in store cannot be upgraded again for one year

  • Upgrades are restricted to the same type and style of the original machine

  • If the plan is canceled and reinstated, all previously warrantied machines will lose their warranty status. Warranty on the reinstated plan will only cover future purchases and upgrades.

  • Only non-damaged, unabused, working machines can be upgraded

  • Customer must return the original machine being upgraded or pay a $300 core charge

Upgrade determined

  • Upgrade events can be done monthly based on the purchase date 

  • The member will have three months to claim their update

  • Upgrades are judged on the age of the original machine. When the age of the original machine is confirmed, the level of upgrade will be determined. If the original machine is in one level, upgrades in the next level or any lower levels will be available. Example: a 17 year old machine is at level two. Upgrades in level one through three will be available for the customer.

Upgrade levels

  • Level five - 1 to 5 years

  • Level four - 6 to 10 years

  • Level three - 11 to 15 years

  • Level two - 16 to 20 years

  • Level one - 21 years or older

Maintenance

  • Machines are inspected and determined to be healthy or in need of repairs by a PAR Certified Service provider

  • Damages and abuse to the machine will be noted for use of future warranty

  • Maintenance technician will clean specific serviceable parts on each machine. Moving parts, electronics, filtration systems, etc.

  • Possible issues with a machine will be noted to better serve the member in the event of a warranty. 

  • Any machines deemed by the PAR Certified Service provider to be dilapidated or severely abused will not be available for upgrade and communicated with the member
